A thought came to me last night and I thought I'd share it with you. But, before I get to that...I must say I've been enjoying that Golf Channel show about Charles and Hank....the only thing I regret is that I couldn't get to Charles before Hank with my 5 minute swing lesson....oh well, getting back to my thought, which is; could I do the same for Tiger as Hank is doing for Charles? HOLD ON, before you say anything, hear me out. Why haven't golf scores gone down that much since, well; who knows when. Why hasn't anyone shot, say a 48 at the Masters? It seems to me there 's for improvement. That's why I mention Tiger because he's as near to perfect as there is these days, right? Well what if there was a way to improve his swing so that he could give 48 at the Masters a serious go. I'm just asking. Is it humanly possible to go that low? What if there was something missing, even in Tiger's swing, heaven forbid! What's the harm in trying, maybe, something new, right? So, there it is , the thought that came to me last night. Thought I'd just mention it. Later Gator?

GOLF-Revolutionary New Teaching Method

If you have ever taken a traditional golf lesson, then you know that it will take at about an hour per lesson in a series of say 5 or 6 to just get you started and this is probably necessary for the beginner to learn about the grip and the stance etc, etc. If you're one of the lucky ones you'll catch on right away and be out there competing against Tiger Woods thereafter. But if you're not so lucky or gifted right away then you're in for for probably many more lessons and many more hours and many more baskets of balls and many more ours on the practice range, and you might still not get it or even ever get it. That is a real shame! Don't you think? I do!

So, why is that the case so many many times? It's because the modern day (not to mention the olden days) teacher has overlooked something so fundamental yet so misunderstood and worst of all so unspoken that it is a true wonder that they can teach the swing at all! But don't give up hope for, all is not lost, not by a long shot (straight and true), like yours will be. There is indeed light at the end of the tunnel! And, the best thing is that it is incredibly simple to relate to anyone. In fact it probably should only take any one who knows it less than 5 minutes to relate it to someone else. It's that easy! It's really simple and don't you really think it should always have been, when you think about it! It's only a golf swing after all, for Pete's sake!

So, my last question to you is this. What is it worth to you to spend 5 minutes having me (for now), cause once you start telling all your buddies how you've been able to lose your handicap it it won't be a secret any more and everybody will be telling everybody else and so on and so on, whisper in private via email this 5 minute key to you? One time only is all you'll ever need! How much should that cost you? Or, should it be free? Let me know what you think. Bye Bye!

This is it!

I just recently watched a segment of the Golf Channel which showed Hank Haney giving a lesson(s) to Charles Barkley. This is a very laudable endeavor but I would like to say here and now that I could have had Charles swinging like the pro he is in 5 minutes or less by using something I like to call applied logic. This might might seem impossible due to the nature and magnitude of Charles' purported swing maladies but in reality there is nothing in his swing to raise such a ruckus over and that couldn't be repaired in, as I said, 5 minutes or less with my "applied logic".

There really is something fundamentally basic and simple about the golf swing and I think that the time has come to present it to the world. What's wrong about letting people go out and spend a few hours on the weekend after a long hard week having some fun and enjoying themselves with the family, instead of wailing away at a driving range, yelling at the/any kid(s) who might have wanted to come with them (that's before they had to see them lose it!; because their shots were going everywhere except where they wanted them to go.

What's so bad or unwanted about having the golfing public able to go and start playing a good game right away without hours of lessons and $$$$ for hitting practice balls. Kids have been able to play baseball, football, basketball without this and have a good time doing it and that seems fine with everybody. This is it! The time has come!

My only wish is that I could have gotten to Charles( he was my 1st choice) first as my test subject since his problems have been so well documented, unfortunately and uncomfortably, as we came to know for him. Therefore, I need another well known "celeb" golfing utter failure as my test confirmation subject. Do you( the reader of this) or any of the other bloggers know of someone who might be interested in being that person. Thank you for your time and consideration in reading my unusually long blog, but what are you going to do?

"Dumb Jock"

Are you a dumb jock? I am and I paid the price with my over sized ego that said I didn't need any lessons to play golf. I was great at all the other sports ; what could they possibly tell me that I didn't already know. I couldn't be doing anything fundamentally wrong when I swing at the ball. So why doesn't my ball go where I want it to go. Sound like anybody you know? If it does I'm' here to tell you it's not too late to change and it will only take 5 minutes total without a club even. How much could 5 minutes cost anyway? At least I wouldn't be charging by the hour, after hour, after hour, after hour; you get the picture. It only took me 30 years to stop being a dumb jock, at least about golf. I hope it won't take YOU that long!

Still not sure what I mean?

Ever wondered why after many many lessons you still don't have it? Or why people like Mickey Mantle never had great careers in golf after they had hung up their cleats? I think there is a reason and I'd like to reveal it to you among us who have been very good in such sports as tennis or baseball but just couldn't carry that ability forward into golf.
